Mr. Antônio Samorano and his eldest son, Julio Samorano, innovate the family business and begin producing leather upholstery.
Mr. Antônio and Julio Samorano found Century, family’s first industry exclusively dedicated to upholstery manufacture. It all started with just 17 employees.
The first expansion of the Century industrial park takes place, with 6,000 m² and 78 employees.
With all the challenges inherent to the 21st century, in 2018, Julio Samorano hands over to the 4th generation of the family, his sons Julio Cesar and Nathalia Samorano, the mission of bringing comfort to the world and enter an even more modern world with Century.
Century launches its new brand and adjusts the company’s positioning to the new times. 2020 also marks the achievement of 16 countries to which our products are exported, in addition to the significant investment in the company’s digitization, with a new website, new tools in the industry, machinery and a new administrative center. The result? 180% growth in one year.
